All of this, of course, despite
- a Grammy nomination for each of their three studio albums
- multiple SNL and Late Night performances
- their album hitting the top ten in 14 different countries (number 1 in the US)
- and practically being on every “Best Albums of 2010” list in existence from MTV (#4) to Spin (#3) to Rolling Stone (#3) to Billboard (#2) to NPR (Favorite).
You’ve got to laugh a little at the Top-40s crowd. Just a little.
